Bad Verizon Service Story

It seems that employees of an unnamed Verizon store were unable to wrap their heads around an account holder passing away: when his family tried to have the plan canceled, they told her no one could cancel or alter the plan except for the original account holder – who is deceased!
Here’s the real point of the article:

My mom had brought the death certificate with her, and the employees told her it didn’t matter, no one else was authorized without my dad giving them authorization, even though he had passed away.
